Send us one return you already filed. We review it for missed credits, filing errors and obvious CRA-letter risk — and send a one-page findings note within 5 business days. If something is worth fixing, we quote the fix in writing first. If there is nothing to fix, you still get a straight answer.

  • Free — capped weekly so the work stays real.
  • One-page findings note in 5 business days.
  • Quote before any fix. No surprise invoice, no pressure.
  • No refund promises. This is a review service, not a guarantee of money back.

One return per household. CRA My Account authorization (or Notice of Assessment + the filed return) required. Returns prepared by our firm are excluded.

How the Fresh Eyes Review works

Three steps, no obligation, and a straight answer either way.

Request it

Two-minute form. Tell us the filing year and how to reach you. We confirm a slot while the weekly cap allows.

Grant access

Authorize us on CRA My Account (we send the steps), or send your Notice of Assessment and the filed return. Never a SIN through a web form.

Get the note

A one-page findings note within 5 business days: what is worth fixing, what is not, and any CRA-letter risk to watch.

What it is — and is not

It is

  • A review of one previously filed personal or corporate return
  • A one-page findings note in plain English
  • A written quote before any correction work
  • A no-obligation second opinion

It is not

  • A refund promise or estimate of money back
  • A free re-file or free tax advice on a filed return
  • A guarantee that something was missed
  • An offer for returns we prepared

Capped at 8 reviews a week off-season and 3 a week in T1 season, one return per household. If a fix is worth doing, the T1-ADJ or refile is quoted separately from $125. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the Canada Revenue Agency.

Fresh Eyes Review questions

Do I have to switch accountants to get this?

No. It is a second opinion with no obligation. If nothing is worth fixing, you leave with a straight answer — and if you want to keep working with your current preparer, that is fine.

What do you need from me?

Your authorization on CRA My Account (we send the steps), or your Notice of Assessment plus the return you filed. We do not ask for SINs through this website.

How long does it take?

One-page findings note within 5 business days of receiving access and the return. If the weekly cap is full, we tell you the next available slot before you commit.

What if you find something?

We explain it in the findings note and quote the fix in writing — T1-ADJ or refile from $125, or a separate scope for corporate work. We do not touch anything until you approve the quote.

Do you promise I will get money back?

No. Refund outcomes depend on your facts. We promise a look and a straight answer, not a refund.

Can you review a corporate year-end?

Yes — one prior corporate year-end (T2 + NTR) for an incorporated owner, same free capped review, same findings-note format.
